There has been Natura Vitalis in news attention to medicinal cannabis in 2013, with reports on CNN, ABC, CBS, and local books about high-cannabidiol cannabis oil efficiently controlling the signs of rare epileptic conditions like Dravet syndrome, Doose syndrome, infantile spasms, cortical dysplasia, and much more. These ailments can cause countless thousands of seizures a week, while also impairing development in a number of different ways. For families with children experiencing these conditions, the challenges are overwhelming. Due to the extremely intricate nature of Dravet and associated syndromes, traditional pharmaceuticals are ineffective and often make the problems worse. With no other hope, families have turned to high-CBD cannabis oil, which is proving to work with amazing efficacy.

To clarify, high-CBD cannabis oil is non-psychoactive and seemingly even more beneficial compared to high-THC cannabis oil. Cannabidiol is just another cannabinoid in the cannabis plant, like the more well-known psychoactive cannabinoid THC, together with important research suggesting neuroprotectant, anticancer, antidiabetic, anti-ischemic, antispasmodic, antipsychotic, and antibacterial properties, amongst others. What's more, cannabis oil is a form of extract from cannabis. Such oil contains large amounts of concentrated cannabinoids that can be orally ingested instead of smoked, preserving the medicinal chemicals and allowing them to be delivered via digestive system, in contrast to the respiratory system.

On August 11th, 2013, Sanjay Gupta published a documentary on CNN about Charlotte Figi. Charlotte is a young Dravet syndrome individual who had been having 300 grand mal seizures a week. No additives or dietary changes can do anything to reduce this amount. Charlotte's parents learned about high-CBD cannabis oil, and after literally the first dose, Charlotte's seizures stopped. She has less than three minor seizures per month. This situation is nothing short of miraculous, and it is not isolated. Dr. Margaret Gedde, a Colorado Springs doctor, is tracking 11 new patients of their Stanely brothers, the suppliers of Charlotte's high-CBD medication. 9 of them have experienced 90-100% discounts in seizures, and again, is simply astounding.

The epileptic states that CBD is proving to work against are very complicated, and not the most powerful, well researched pharmaceuticals have been capable of causing any healing. Yet high-CBD cannabis oil is instantly and potently decreasing symptoms, with the only side effects being systemically beneficial - more energy, better understanding, improved behaviour, and more.

It shouldn't be surprising that outcomes like these have been happening for ages. The same as research shows cannabinoids are more effective against epilepsy, there's research indicating they can eliminate cancers and control other severe ailments. And in training, for epilepsy and these other conditions, the outcomes are translating to people. People have been reliably eliminating cancers for years and mitigating diseases like diabetes, Crohn's, fibromyalgia, cardiovascular disease, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, and more. This is as significant as it gets, and much more attention must be caused by this issue.
